There are many cars that I wish I’ve owned. One of my favorites is a pagoda 280SL Mercedes.

A forever beautiful classic! The clean lines and the uncluttered style...so nice.

Way, way out there, most definitely only existing as a "Wish Car" since only 100 being made (all sold prior to production) and a $2m or higher price tag! However, it is an awesome automobile.

Gordon Murray T.33 Spider: Cosworth V12, 11,000 RPM, 6-speed MT, awesome looks.

From Hagerty: "Drivers of the T.33 Spider will be able to appreciate the sensational sound of the motor on full song even more with the car’s carbon fiber roof panels removed and the glass rear window dropped."

My home town has an annual car show, and every year this guy shows up with a concourse quality Yugo. I have a secret desire to get one and make it perfect. Compared to its competition, the Yugo was lowly. But if you think about how far humans have come since we first showed up, starting with absolutely nothing but mother earth -- all of the discoveries, inventions, industries, failures and accomplishments incorporated into a Yugo -- even the lowly Yugo is a remarkable thing. Think about being plopped down on an earth-like planet with nothing but mother nature all around you -- imagine how long it would take to be able to make literally any single part on a Yugo, let alone the whole thing.

That is an interesting take on the lowly Yugo! But it's a good one and a great observation on our small spot in the Universe!

I could be wrong but I believe the Yugo is a Zastava derivative of the Fiat 128. There WERE a lot of 128's floating around at one point (Fiat produced the 128 from 1969 through 1985, with a total of 3,107,000 examples built by Fiat and another 1,031,671 produced under license by Zastava until 2013. The SEAT 128, on the other hand, had 31,893 units made between 1976 and 1980.) and there is still a following in other countries, and the 1100-1500 SOHC was a smooth engine let down by poor maintenance and questionable electrics. A clean 128 goes for 6,000-11,000 Euros and the Rallye version for up to 16,000 to 20,000 Euros....a two door is a well-proportioned box with too small tires....
Hmmmmmm, maybe TMI?

I'll always remember a friend's '66 SS 327 Nova that he bought new. It was a mildish light yellow that I thought looked very good on the car. Decided to look online and am seeing that good ones bring big money.
