Barber many years ago (June 2014). Look at all the sweet Experience Center Porsche's lined up just waiting and begging for someone to take 'em on track and drive them like they want to be driven!!

It's pretty telling - a lot of attention to detail and plenty of class exhibited by the people at the Experience Centers with their cars so carefully and precisely parked. By color no less!
(Again, this is an old pic from 2014 - I need to get some newer ones next time I'm there. Or maybe someone on Carpokes will do that and post here.

Thanks for that info! Is that replacing the current one in Bowmanville or will there be two centers?P_Coastal wrote: ↑Thu Feb 23, 2023 1:38 pm Opening 2024:

Meanwhile, you need to also take a trip south into U.S. and visit Barber Motorsports Park - can do the Experience, visit the unbelievable museum George Barber has built there and see his track facility that's the Augusta of Racetracks. It's immaculately landscaped and is a pristinely maintained facility - gorgeous in every respect. It's a fun track too.

Atlanta PEC from 2018, before the expansion. Did PEC delivery of my 991.2 GT3, drove PCNA's GT3 on track for 90 minutes. Kick plate was fun. Track is small and tight. No real run off. Fun to use somebody else's tires, brakes and gas.

Nice! I'd like to do an Experience Center delivery some day. Gotta plan for that.
Lol and 100000% agree to the "somebody else's tires" comment.

@blueline Porsche Experience Center Toronto is “only the tenth in the world and third of its kind in North America after Atlanta and Los Angeles.”

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (Bowmanville) currently hosts the Porsche Track Experience in Canada. I do not know if that will continue after PEC Toronto opens.

Got it and thanks! I did not know that about the number of worldwide PEC's. Ten is more than I would have guessed. Impressive Porsche!P_Coastal wrote: ↑Thu Feb 23, 2023 2:35 pm @blueline Porsche Experience Center Toronto is “only the tenth in the world and third of its kind in North America after Atlanta and Los Angeles.”

Of course, BMP (Barber) is not considered a PEC; rather it is only for Porsche's on-track use for customers same as you explained it is for Mosport. (Sorry, I revert back to that great name often.) The Porsche tie-in with BMP is very strong - almost as though they share partial control of the track.
As I recall, Porsche chose Barber for one of their 918 special event launches across North America featuring Jerry Seinfeld who was taking delivery of his 918.

I can only second the comments regarding Barber and PEC Atlanta. I've been privileged to drive both on multiple occasions, Barber is a very technical track, and Mr. Barber left no detail out in building it. On my first visit I was surveying the track while another run group was out when he came up to me to ask my opinion of the facility. He was genuinely interested in hearing what I had to say. I complimented him on the layout and first class nature of everything there. It really is the "Augusta of racetracks." It's also the Disney World of race tracks, workers are constantly picking up every scrap of paper and keeping it pristine, something I've never seen at any other track.
I've driven the PEC Atlanta track twice, driving both the 911 and Cayman, very tight track, no runoff but lots of fun. My second time was when I took delivery of my 718 GTS 4.0, something I enthusiastically recommend.
