I am prepping to install a TiAL F46 wastegate, Billy Boat cat delete exhaust and a Lindsey Racing manual boot controller this week.

First, I wanted to get folks input on how I’m going to run the set up initially. TiAL recommended that I install a blue spring in the F46 that is rated .5 bar/7.25 psi. I will use Lindsay manual boost controller in dual port mode to dial in the boost from there to factory levels for now. I have a set of Lindsay Max chips that I’m going to later install thanks to @944m3! but I want to make sure things are all good with the new exhaust and wastegate first and that will be the next step.

Secondly, it seems like the F46 is gonna be very tight in the space around the torque tube. Will the F46 squeeze in there? It seems a lot longer than the F38. Based on what I’ve found, I’m going to need to take that bracket off that’s around the torque tube that holds on the factory Wastegate. Does anyone else run the F46 with some sort of bracket fab to keep it secure just run it as is with no support? I’m guessing the F38 also has similar issue so please share if you have one of those as well. I found a couple of old threads but nothing recent and the pics I found are hard to make out what mods were made. I would love to see pics if anyone has any of your setup. I do have a custom wastegate dump pipe for the F46 that came with my exhaust so it should be a bolt on install. 🤞

Pictures of my setup below, it seems to be working ok without the brace for now, I could only find a one piece crossover so I had to modify it with a v-band to get the wastegate at the right angle. Generally you go for the spring closest to half the max boost you want to run. Im running 18psi with a 10psi spring
