Cooling system issues
Finished the car today. This time I used a vacuum filter, total game changer. The process was quick and almost mess free.
After filling it up, I ran a pressure test with a pump and was disappointed to find what looked like a leak coming from the water pump. I was just about ready to tear everything apart again. Luckily, I double checked everything first and realized I’m just an idiot. I’d forgotten to secure the clamp on the water neck.
After running a few heat cycles and burping the system the old fashioned way, everything checked out. Six months later, it’s finally done and ready to enjoy.
