Schroth Porsche specific 2x2 Six-Point Racing Harnesses. Two sets, including hardware. 2025 expiry.

I don't do many PCA track events anymore but if/when I do, they are no longer allowing the use of race harnesses that are out of date. This has always been the case for sanctioned races but never before has the rule applied for DE events.
PCA appealed the decision but their national insurance underwriter turned them down. Kind of a silly decision with little to no actuarial basis, but that's the way it is. Even sillier is that if you show up with out of date harnesses, you can run in the event but must use the factory OEM 3-pts. So, one can't use high-end racing harness sets that are more than 5-years old but it's fine to use thinner, less protective, 10 or 20-year old slide-around-the-seat factory belts. It's a bit idiotic but then that's the typical MO for insurers.
Sadly, these high-dollar Schroth belts only have a 5-year FIA window. Again, I understand the requirements for sanctioned racing which also generally stipulates that the belts be replaced if involved in a track incident. But DEs??
No other orgs or tracks that I know of doing non-racing track days stipulate harness date inspections, including SCCA, NASA, etc.
Oh well...
The belt sets are packed in their original boxes and I've packed those in the shipping box my new ones came in. Total weight is about 15lbs and the box measures approx 14" x 10" x 10".
These harnesses would be likely be great for AX, track days from orgs other than PCA, and possibly even off-road vehicle adaptation.
