I can confirm that rear brake air scoops 982-505-569 and 982-505-570 do fit on the 718 GTS 4.0 rear suspension. You will have to remove the tension arm from the LCA in order to slide the scoop onto the tension arm.

So the two-piece rear brake air deflectors are a no-go but these might work: Rear brake air scoops: Left 982 505 569; Right 982 505 570 Very similar part numbers but not the same as those above. I see them being discussed here: https://www.planet-9.com/threads/my-2016-cayman-black-edition-build-thre...

No worries as it is easy to forget things like this. Also do you know if the GT4 rears will actually fit the GTS? I know these were talked about in a previous post but nothing on fitment. If I am not mistaken, the 718GT4 rear brake ducts consist of four separate parts - an upper and lower half that...

Can I assume you are installing the s/c with the hydraulic line disconnected, then bolting it in, then hooking up the hydraulic line, then bleeding it?

Re: What did you do with your 718 this week?

Jeremy, The clutch slave cylinder has a small red plastic restrictor inside. Supposedly it is there to prevent overly aggressive launches. If one wants to remove it, a properly-sized screw makes quick work of it. Just a thought. I really appreciate this post, I have been looking on google and have ...

Re: 718 Radiators & Screens - The Backside!

Following the lead of some other 718 owners, I decided to make my own grilles. I pulled the front bumper off to determine the grille shapes and locations as well as to install them. The side grilles were relatively straightforward. For the center grille, I noticed that the black plastic surround for...

Re: 718 Photos - Share the Love!

Larry, I did drive the car along most of the Amalfi coast. It isn't very long, distance-wise, but it takes absolutely forever. So much traffic, so many twists and turns, slow speeds, and lots of stopping for other cars at bottlenecks and construction zones. Renting a scooter the next day was definit...
