Welcome. Great looking car and great looking garage! I'm envious as I live in a high-rise and am forbidden to modify my parking areas.

Looks awesome. Nice job.
I wish I had walls. I live in an elevated house and per code we have to have louvers for walls underneath so I need to get creative on how to decorate them.

Which floor system did you go with? I’m trying to figure out what to do with the garage floors in my new house.

I wonder how that kind of floor would stand up to a quickjack.

Hi

I used the hard plastic tile which I bought from RubberFloorInc - they are 12' x 12" and stand up to "abuse" very well.

The floor in the picture was installed over 7 years ago and still looks great - I just give it an occasional wet mop.

I just place a piece of plywood under the jack to spread the load.

Unlike epoxy which often deteriorates under the tire patch these tiles are in great shape !!!

Audi4t -- love your garage. As a garage aficionado myself, appreciate all the subtle things that add up to an overall feel, like the license plate ransom note on the wall and the industrial art on top of the cabinets. How did you get the porsche/tire tracks and gauge set directly on the wall like that? Very cool. Any chance those tiles are re-branded Racedeck Circletrac tiles? Racedeck has an odd marketing strategy where they let their distributors rebrand racedeck tiles as their own. Drove me nuts when I was shopping for it at my old house -- trying to figure out which tiles were the same and which were something different.

At any rate, since you asked, I feel duty bound to post a picture of my new garage. :) I posted more about it in the "garage thread" in the O.K. Corral, but I never miss a chance to post pictures of it....

Tom

Your garage is gorgeous - I want one like that when I grow up

You did a masterful job !!!!!

The tiles may be rebranded - at the time RubberFloorInc had free shipping and no sales tax so overall they were a good deal.

I've been happy how they have stayed looking fresh over the years with minimal effort.

The tire tracks, gauges and the Carrera silhouette each came on contact paper. I just had to make sure they were plumb and square then remove the backing as I "rolled" the vinyl images on to the drywall.

Thanks for all you do
