Hi to all. I will try to install the cooler braking ducts on my 951.
I think the ones from 986 will do but with a little DY.
Any tips?

First tip, make up your mind if it's 968 or 986 ducts...

968 ducting requires 968 control arms which are non rebuild-able.

If you want better brake cooling, consider the Paragon kit.

I welded tabs and drilled holes in a set of re-buildable arms so I could fit the 968 scoops onto them. Some would say this is risky, but the ball joints are the weak link, not the aluminum arms. If you decide to do this, do it with the arm completely disassembled. Your car, your call.

The upper 968 scoops bolt on the same way as the 944 ones. The lower 968 scoops can be attached to the 944 arms, with a bit of thought. I have the 968 ducts on my 91 turbo.

It can be done, for sure. I've had the same thoughts. At some point I might, or I might get 968 arms and try to make them rebuildable with the 19mm ball joint upgrade.
