I got my block back from the shop and noticed the alignment dowels are missing at the back of the block. I guessed/ordered a 911 part number, but it was too big.

Does anyone know the straight pin part number? It is not on PET.

Thanks.

I can't find the part number either. If you want to gamble, the dowels between the trans and torque tube are 16mm OD. Part #019301153 and kinda pricey at $38.

I bought 900.012.144.00, which are 16mm OD and don't fit.

Thanks for the response.

New Darton sleeves being installed. Should have recycled the aluminum shavings!

If 16mm OD is too big, there might be something else going on. The bolts are 12mm so there's not much room for a smaller dowel.
The dowels should press into the block. What's the ID of the dowel hole in the block?

There are 2 dowel pins in the back of my 86 block. and they are both a hair under 10mm in diameter per my calipers (like 9.95). There is also 1 roll pin that measures about 10.8mm installed.

Thanks. I guess the roll pin is for the sensor bracket?

I think I found it on the PET for 911 78-83.

Part # 900.012.110.00 Straight pin, 10M x 14

It is used between the main and rear cases for the transmission.

Thanks Tom
