New (To me) Car!
Recently got a 1987 944S, Very clean and solid car, timing chain, chain tensioner, water pump, and lot's of other major 944 thing were replaced, transmission shifts smooth, very good bones for a beginner to learn and drive these cars. Any tips for a new 944S owner?

Welcome aboard! Great looking car!
Number 1 thing for all new 944 owners is to check the fuel lines under the hood. They get old and leak onto the exhaust headers -- with predictable results! If they have not been replaced, I'd highly recommend changing them no matter how the originals look!

Welcome aboard.
Tips?
1) Replace the broken center armrest, or replace it with the 968 CS Tray, 944-552-155-00-1DB and Insert, 944-552-161-00-01C
2) Remove the dumb "Non Leaded Fuel Only" sticker
3) Consider a 968CS steering wheel or equivalent since you have a non-airbag car.
4) Have fun!
