I put the same one in my 2001 F150 SVT Lightning. It's great because it fits in a single din. Looks good.

Papa Speedster, so very nice! I am not too well versed on the older generations of 911's (heck, not even that well versed on the new ones!) but I know what looks good and I know what's special and your car certainly fits those two bills.
So, firstly, welcome to Carpokes!
Secondly, thank you for posting the excellent pictures. We are always encouraginging people to post photos - the site is not only friendly to members, it is also friendly to pictures.
Thirdly, it would be interesting and also quite helpful (in a learning sense) if you would tell us something about your car and its background.
Beyond that, please explore the site and join in whenever you are so inclined!

Thank you!! I purchased the car last year from a guy in North Carolina. I had almost given up looking for an early 911 after two years of looking and being out bid on some auctions. Then one mourning I was watching a guy i follow on YouTube and saw this car he said it was also for sale, I noticed the video was only 3 hours old so I emailed him right away. He put me in touch with the owner and after a couple weeks of back and forth negotiating I purchased the car without going to see it in person.
It is a 1972 911t Targa. The guy I purchased it from got it from California. At one time a CBS executive owned it and had all the body work and all steel flares put onto the car and SC suspension and brakes . It has a 3.0L in it now from a race car which had to be tamed down for the street. After I got it I had some problems with the CIS injection but have it all ironed out now. I also had the suspension rebuilt leveled car out and lowered the car to between euro and race specs. And replaced wheels with Fuch style Braid wheels front 8 x 16 and the back 10 x 16 . I live In Ohio and can’t wait for some Good Weather so I can take her out for a drive!!
Oh bye the way, I Like this website, still figuring my way around it.

Welcome to Carpokes and LOVE that picture! We had a discussion a while back about whether people let their dogs in their Porsches. That picture makes a strong argument in favor!! Many of us have posted pictures of our doggies here:
