Re: Can’t set charging for 85% - it always hits 100%?
I have a chargepoint and have been using it without issue for the last two years. Your issue is with your timer and profile. The way to fix it is to, disable the timer and set the profile minimum charge to be 85%. That will fix it. Porsche does not make it clear how the two options work. I only use ...

Re: autocross numbers
I've used the reusable vinyl. Reuse works best when used on glass. Glass needs to be freshly cleaned, if not the vinyl picks up the dirt and over time they will no longer be sticky. For autocross they work fine, for DE, I found would need to tape the leading edge of the number or it might lift.

Re: GT4 RS BRAKE SWITCH ?
I put ST discs on my 991.2 GT3 a couple of years back. At the time they were $12,500. I converted from steel brakes. The kit came with the spacers for the calipers and the longer hard brake lines for the rears. plug-n-play install. I'm happy with the upgrade. Slidespic - 1.jpeg Any dust to speak of...

Re: Auto Train
Don't have first hand experience, but a bunch of PCA Chesapeake folks did that when Parade was down in Boca. Folks said if you do it pay for the early off option, it's well worth it. But there were no issues with 944, Boxster/Caymans or 911's (stock cars, none GT).

Re: 2024 Cayman Base allocation available - act very quick
PTS windows can be very short. It's one thing to get and allocation for a car, its another to get an allocation in a PTS window. Even if your allocation can qualify for PTS, you still need to submit the color to Porsche and they need to bless the option and approve it. At anytime they could say no. ...

Re: 991.2 GT3 spring maintenance
Yeah, I have to admit there is virtually nothing (short of paint and upholstery) that I don't do myself on the 944, but I somehow think of the new cars as magic machines that only the dealer can touch. If I keep one long enough for the warranty to expire, maybe I'd be more inclined to dig in. Nice ...

Re: Tips for Euro Delivery
I did ED back in Oct 2013 of a 981 Cayman S. Fun trip. For the winter tires, the tires maybe mounted on different wheels then what you ordered for the car. We found a car wash close to the factory and used it before dropping the car off. I had a couple minor fit/finish issues with the car, that I no...

991.2 GT3 spring maintenance
I've been busy with customer projects, which has pushed my spring maintenance much later than I would have liked. Finally had some time the last couple of days to replace the plugs, serpentine belt and air filters. I changed the oil back in November before weather was real bad and putting the car do...
